Google’s introduction to the smartphone world;

With its recent android update, Google also released a new phone which runs android 7.1 out of the box. Being the first phone to run android nougat 7.1, it also comes with a few features which make it worth the almost-iPhone cost.

The google Pixel, is a powerful device running snapdragon 821 chipsets providing  4 GB RAM, which make it easier for the phone to handle services and applications to conserve battery for the not so high-end 2770mah battery.

It has two variants, separated by screen and battery sizes, the pixel and the Pixel XL are not very different. The pixel XL has a 5.5’’ screen and packs a larger 3450mah battery. If you are that person, who keeps taking selfies and photos or  can’t get enough photos of your dog to post on Instagram, you should choose the 128 GB variant over the 32 GB one. Choosing a phone from such a company liable for students passing their exams shouldn’t be a tough call. But that is when the cost comes in. If you want a mediocre under budget phone, this isn’t for you. This phone is almost as expensive as the recent iPhone 7 and is merely advanced. The Pixel phones come in a price group of 9/10 same as all the iPhones ever released.

For an android phone, this phone takes total advantage of the 12mp camera.

Quite black, Very silver, Really Blue. Yes, they don’t really have cool names as space black but c’mon its android. You can also get the whole android 7.0 experience through the pixel launcher.

The camera has endless possibilities with it being open-source and customizable. Both the phones have 8mp front cameras and dual-tone flash on the back. These phones don’t ask much time for charging, all thanks to the reversible fast charging USB Type -C port and connecter. This device has built in gyroscope, fingerprint reader and a mic dedicated to noise cancellation. Google doesn’t charge a hefty price for nothing but this phone seems to be an exception. But, google can be excused this time as it is its first time in the smartphone world excluding all the times it released a nexus device with the help of other companies. And yes, the phone has face beauty mode in the front camera for all the Facebook addicts.
